The room (14, in the cottage) is well appointed and is an accessible option in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we were aware that they did a continental breakfast due to the kitchen being currently closed. Bar staff were equally attentive and wanted to check everything was OK.
The room is well decorated and was clean and comfortable and the bathroom fresh and tidy. The walk-in shower was good on its temperature selection and was powerful enough. The bed was enormous and comfy.
Midhurst appeared to be extremely quiet, as there was only one other couple at the restaurant we chose.
We would stay there again.
Hopefully, within the current climate, they can re-open the kitchen because the overheads of maintaining the Angel to its current standards must be high and it would be a shame to lose that gem on the main street through the town. (We did stay on a Thursday)
This used to be a drinking pub for my sister so was interesting to see how it has changed. It is more of a tea rooms during the day with a very small menu and limited hot food options. Food was delicious - although not much bread with the ploughman's which is strange as bread is the cheapest part. Wine was good and the staff super friendly and helpful. Would go again but might ask for more bread next time.
Absolutely beautiful pub with friendly staff, great food and nice beer. Rooms are very comfortable and cosy. So much to see and do nearby. Can't wait to return soon. Recommended 200%
